RisenOne is proud to have been chosen by Saddleback Church as the marketing communications supplier to Radicalis 2011.

The Project:
RADICALIS 2011

The Summary:
An event like Radicalis doesn’t happen overnight. We started working on the beginning pieces back in October. We were fortunate to have a good foundation to start with. The Radicalis logo and tree roots illustration provided the visual direction to follow. The only rule… be Radical! We successfully updated all the designs with a fresh new look while maintaining the core elements of the brand.

The first priority was getting the website updated so we could start marketing the event. We created a site which allowed for the inclusion of each speakers’ Twitter feed, making the site an interactive experience. Next was a series of animated banner ads which were strategically placed across several leading faith-based websites. With the website and banner ad campaign active and in place we launched a series of broadcast email campaigns targeting pastors and church staff as well as past Radicalis attendees.

With the e-components of the marketing communications in place, we started working on the print and promotional pieces of the strategy. The focus of the print collateral would be the conference binder and the 60+ pages of content. The goal was to produce the most professional product possible. Starting with the cover design, the 2011 binder is “New and Improved!” Using more of a magazine style layout for the body allowed us to deliver more advertising space to our sponsors.

For the promotional items, we wanted to carry forward the Radicalis brand without creating mini walking Radicalis billboards. The answer was leveraging the Radicalis “R” logo we created for other pieces. From the t-shirts to the shoulder bag, we kept it Radical while keeping with a minimalist approach to the Radicalis logo.

All-in-all, we created over 700 files in the production of Radicalis 2011. Below is a quick list of the pieces produced for the event.

  • Web:
Banner Ad campaigns, Websites for Radicalis.com and Radicalislive.com, Email Campaigns, Social Media
  • Print:
3-Ring Binder, Binder Contents, Sponsor Ads, Event Signage, 4×6 Schedule Card, Power Point Presentation template, conference handout-template
  • Promotional:
    Shoulder Bag, T-Shirt, Dog-Tag, Stickers

Saddleback Church is spreading HOPE

Saddleback Church was looking for a way to show the local community that they were cared for. Project City HOPE is Saddleback’s local PEACE effort. We designed what has become known as the HOPE box. Our main goal was to create a vehicle that would create a recognizable identity for the church’s campaign. The green HOPE box is eye catching and is helping to spread the message of HOPE. Please contact us for information on ordering boxes for you own campaign.
